Tertiary maintenance focuses on detecting, adjusting, eliminating hazards and balancing the wear of individual components. Diagnostic inspections and condition checks are required on parts that affect equipment performance and those that show symptoms of failure to complete the necessary replacement, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
